Cambridge University Excursion

Journey into one of the world’s most prestigious academic cities with a visit to Cambridge, home to the historic University founded in 1209.

This excursion gives Ace Tennis Camp students the chance to walk in the footsteps of some of history’s greatest thinkers, scientists, and leaders, while exploring the beauty and tradition of one of England’s most inspiring destinations.

Sample Itinerary - Included for International and Global Camps

• Morning – Guided Walking Tour of Cambridge
  Stroll through the cobbled streets and historic colleges of Cambridge, discovering iconic sites such as King’s College Chapel, the Mathematical Bridge, and the serene courtyards that have inspired scholars for centuries. Students will learn about the university’s traditions and its global impact.
• Late Morning – College Visit & Stories of Discovery
  Step inside one of Cambridge’s world-famous colleges to hear stories of alumni such as Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, and Stephen Hawking. Students will gain insight into how Cambridge has shaped knowledge and discovery across the centuries.
• Afternoon – Punting on the River Cam
  Experience a Cambridge tradition with a punting tour along the River Cam. As students glide past the “Backs” of the colleges, guides will share tales of student life, university rivalries, and the city’s vibrant history.
• Late Afternoon – Museums or Free Exploration (student choice)
  Conclude with a visit to one of Cambridge’s outstanding museums—such as the Fitzwilliam Museum—or free time to explore the town’s charming shops and cafés before returning to camp.
