So this week we hear the unfortunate news that both Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric have tested positive for Coronavirus after being part of the Adria Tour.

In theory Novak's mini series of events in the Adriatic was great, but the scenes of no social distancing, nightclubs, football and basketball matches was not responsible or necessary. Many tennis fans will be disappointed that this has put tennis in the headlines, instead of the amazing popularity rise in tennis. The players who attend Ace Tennis Camps will have been watching and observing. It does not set a great example to see your heroes directly contradict medical advice.

Tennis players have a responsibility to promote the sport in the best light. There is no doubt Novak will be disappointed in the bad publicity his event has received. He can not however be surprised as a player who prepares so meticulously for matches, hems have looked at all possible outcomes.

This week the "Battle of the Brits" takes place in London behind closed doors. I hope all Ace Tennis Camps players tune in and watch the best players in the UK compete. Its is viewable on Amazon Prime all week.

Tennis must return when it is safe for all involved. It was heartbreaking to postpone this years tennis camps, but safety must be a priority.
