"Players are ready"

/ Author: Chris Osborne

The next six weeks will see a variety of events across the UK on grass courts.  Its an opportunity for everybody to be involved in tennis across the country. The grass court season heralds the start of the British summer. It will also see the start of the 2016 Ace Tennis Camps and the time of year we welcome players from all over the world to our tennis camps.  Those of us joining us for tennis camps during Wimbledon we shall be following the tournament closely and watching the big matches on our cinema screens at camp. There will be cheering for each nations favourite player. Hopefully Rafa Nadal will recover from his hand injury sustained at the French Open to challenge for the Wimbledon title, as he is the leading Spanish candidate. It could also be one of the last years Roger Federer has a good chance at adding to his collection of wins at SW19.  On the women's side Garbine Muguruza will be looking to go one stage further and challenge Serena Williams dominance.

Each week at the tennis camps, each player will have the opportunity to play on grass courts. Its part of the English experience we offer all our attendees. This experience in addition to meeting new friends, developing your game and of course having lots of fun. Players at Ace Tennis Camps enjoy a variety of surfaces to fine tune their game under the watchful eye of our leading coaches. Ace Tennis Camps welcomes all those players who are dedicated and passionate about improving their tennis.

The tennis camp experience is far from limited to on the court activities. Cinema nights, London tours and even an English Language program complete a fantastic summer experience. A place where young people can gain confidence and develop their life skills on and off the court. If you would like further information please contact a member of the team!

This article has been written while are watching Andy Murray dispatch Stan Wawrinka in the semi finals of the French Open.  We will all be behind Andy in the final against Novak Djokovic.  Andy Murray becomes only the tenth player in history to reach all four Grand Slam finals, this demonstrates his place in the sports history.

Its exciting to have a home grown player flying the flag for tennis in our country.  If you have been inspired by Andy's drive to the final then join us for a tennis camp this summer!

Thanks for reading.

Ps.  The office is split on a Novak or Andy win!
