Chris Osborne - Camp Director
Camp Director and owner, Chris Osborne has been involved in providing high quality tennis camps for young people across the world for the past five years. A background of playing tennis to a very high standard as a junior, led to an outstanding early career in coaching, playing a pivotal role in many success stories, both in the UK and USA. Chris has been involved with Nike Sports Camps on the East Coast of the USA since 2005 before launching Ace tennis camps here in the UK.
A true sports lover, Chris is happy to talk tennis, or any sport for that matter, all the time and will always be looking to join in the coaching! Chris is a firm believer that the importance of sport in the development of young people cannot to be underestimated, especially in terms of its ability to develop skills for future life including leadership, respect and teamwork.
Ace tennis camps stands for great sportsmanship, developing new friendships and learning to understand different cultures and languages while being in a friendly and safe environment. All our attendees are treated with the utmost respect and the same is expected from them towards their fellow campers, coaches and supervising staff.
No matter what your ability level, our goal is to help you keep improving. We can guarantee this through great coaching, healthy competition and exciting social activities. We also strive to give each camper the individual attention they need. Our campers always leave with better individual and team skills, as we provide an environment for young athletes to work hard and improve in a positive and fun atmosphere.

Matt Allen - Head High Performance Coach
Matt has over 14 years' experience in the sport and leisure industry, working for David Lloyd Leisure and the Lawn Tennis Association. Matt has an infectious enthusiasm for tennis; he has the ability to coach players of all ages and abilities but for the majority of his coaching career Matt has focused on developing and nurturing talented young performance players. Matt has coached numerous juniors of a national level, some of which have gone on to win National championship titles, compete across Europe as well as gain scholarships to American Universities. Matt has also headed up many Regional Training Camps in the Midlands, assisted on National Training Camps and captained two Great Britain under 12 teams.

LTA Talent and Performance Coordinator - Main responsibilities:
- To identify talented players at different development stages, and provide advice when necessary to coaches and parents
- To develop and run bespoke coach education for the satellite clubs
- To administer and coordinate Regional Training/Talent ID Camps
- 2010 - Gained LTA SPC Qualification
- Assisted on National Training Camps
- Captained Great Britain under 12 Boys Teams in France and UK
Tom Osborne - Co-Director/Head Pro
Tom brings a wealth of experience to his coaching. Having previously coached internationally in countries such as Spain, France and Portugal he uses his wide experience to developing tennis enthusiasts to become better mental, physical and skilled tennis players. While Tom makes it his mission to teach his pupils as much as is possible, he also knows the importance of making tennis a fun, enjoyable sport that can be played amongst all ages.
Tom focuses all his efforts on the younger generation of players. His passion to teach the new generation of tennis players was the primary reason to become Co-Director of Ace Tennis Camps. He looks forward to teaching a variety of players and is an advocate of learning and bettering each individual from multiple approaches to the game.
Nick Osborne - Head Pro
Nick is a former standout US collegiate player and former nationally ranked junior. His playing credentials saw him receive a tennis scholarship to play collegiate tennis in South Carolina, USA. He was a nationally ranked doubles player, three time academic ITA All-American and three time All South Atlantic Conference selection. He currently represents Durham & Cleveland men's county team and plays national and international tournaments.
Nick's coaching credentials have seen him coach high performance junior and college players in the United States. He served as assistant coach to the nationally ranked University of Chicago men's and women's varsity tennis teams. Nick has a vast knowledge of international tennis and has worked specifically with players in the UK and USA looking to play professionally or in the US collegiate system.
Chris Frosin - Head Development Coach
Chris has been involved in tennis for many years, and has worked with some of the highest ranked juniors in the UK. He coaches in a simple and structured manner to bring out the best in players and his sessions are always high energy and great fun. Coaching has taking Chris all over the world but he is currently based in the Midlands working to bring through the next generation of young tennis stars!
Chris McPherson - Head Coach
Chris has an extensive knowledge tennis from a successful playing and coaching career. As a player he worked with many of the top coaches in the UK competing in national and international tournaments in the UK and Europe. He currently plays for Derbyshire Men's county team in Group 1 of the Aegon Summer County Cup.
Chris began coaching at an early age, helping other juniors and soon developed a passion for passing on his knowledge and expertise.
In 2002 he passed his DCA and has worked at various clubs since then. He specialises in working with juniors, developing all aspects of the player and not just their technical game.
Chris is currently working in Brazil with a small group of players who are competing in state and national tournaments. Working with players in the different culture, different surface and different climate has given him a new dimension to his coaching.
